Moscow Urban Forum 2023
HALO ran the Moscow Urban Forum 2023 at Gostiny Dvor not as a single installation, but as the whole venue at once.
The exhibition covered healthcare, education, and social policy, and HALO held the content art direction for the entire space.
The work spanned 11 zones — a central screen, idents, typographic films, dashboards, and a robot character — tied together by master templates: one shared rulebook and toolkit that every zone's content was built from. Those templates are what keep the venue in one style: eleven different zones read as one project, not eleven.
Beyond producing the content and identity, HALO led and coordinated the exhibition's entire content workstream — not just production, but management: pulling material across every zone into one visual language and one schedule.
The scale here is in the role, not just the volume. HALO acted as art direction for a whole exhibition — setting the system every zone worked within, from the central screen to the dashboards and the robot character, and holding them in one visual key for the length of the show.
Overall content art direction for the whole Gostiny Dvor venue; content and identity for 11 zones; leadership and coordination of the exhibition's content workstream.
11 zones: central screen, idents, typographic films, dashboards, a robot character, master templates for one venue-wide style.
